Arab Israeli Bible Society
Last year we focused on empowering women, providing a safe environment for them and family members to interact with God’s Word and express themselves. God abundantly blessed these activities and we are grateful. Please pray that God continues the good work that has been started in the Arab Israeli community and that we are able to find a new staff member.
Israel
Thank God for opening doors for his Word to be sown. Pray that our new productions will be powerful tools to open readers’ eyes and strengthen their faith. Pray, too, that our new website will bring blessing and encouragement and that God will provide resources to print and distribute more materials. Ask for God’s peace and comfort upon this land and for his grace, wisdom and safety for our staff, families and volunteers.
West Bank & Gaza
Pray that the true ‘Shalom’/ ‘Salam’/ ‘Peace’ may rule our troubled region this year. Pray for justice and reconciliation between Palestinians and God, and between Palestinians and others in the land. Pray for Gaza, for an end to its curfew and for liberty for its 1,6 million inhabitants. Pray for the city of Jenin as we start serving the local churches there and for a victorious, joyful and fruitful year.
Jordan
Praise God for more than 30 years of serving the truth in Jordan and Iraq through the Bible Society in Amman. Ask that he will guide us to the best location for our new headquarters. Give thanks for new opportunities for ministry, particularly among factory workers and prisoners, and for stronger relations with churches. Pray also for our ministry to children and young people.
