Burkina Faso
Thank God for opportunities to develop Bible work in our country despite the difficult economic circumstances, and praise him for our 30th anniversary. Pray for our literacy work among sighted people and people with a visual disability. Ask that God’s Word will have a real impact on the lives of Christians, on families and on our nation. Ask, too, that our country will find lasting peace.
Côte d'Ivoire
Pray for political stability so that we can carry out Bible work across the whole country. Give thanks for good progress with our translation projects, asking that this will continue. Pray for our distribution teams working in difficult circumstances and pray for the implementation of our plans to construct a national headquarters.
Ghana
Praise God for the appointment of a new General Secretary and for the success of last year’s Bible Week. Pray for this year’s Bible Week. Give thanks for the completion of the Deuterocanonical books in Asante, Akuapem, Ewe, Mfantse and Dagbani and pray for their successful publication and launch. Praise God, too, for the distribution of more than 800 000 Bibles to schoolchildren and ask for funds to reach more than one million this year.
