Denmark
Please give thanks for the successful Good Samaritan programme in Africa and for the work we do in Greenland and the Faroe Islands. Pray that we succeed in recruiting new donors for international Bible work, and that we can make the Bible high-profile and relevant at a national level. Pray that Danish schools embrace our Christian educational material and that our online Bible continues to be successful.
Netherlands
Please ask God’s blessing on all efforts to fight indifference in our society towards Bible engagement. At the same time ask for his blessing upon our special partnership with Benin, Burkina Faso and Togo in West Africa. We need prayers for projects for children and young people, but also prayers for the dedicated involvement of volunteers and churches. And we ask for prayers for our translation of the Bible into common language.
Iceland
Pray that this year, when our Society celebrates 195 years of service, will be fruitful and an opportunity to reach out to those who do not know the Word of God. Ask that the economic crisis that hit our country two years ago may be a new start, helping people to learn to value the treasure of the Gospels and the Bible as a whole.
