Finland
Give thanks for the continued development of Good Samaritan projects, including collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Pray that God’s Word reaches children and young people and ask that we will identify new ways of sharing the Scriptures and obtaining financial support. Pray, too, for our national Year of the Bible and for plans to celebrate our bicentenary in 2012.
Sweden
Give thanks for the progress of our Bible Adventure initiative for children. We made more than 1 100 visits last year, reaching around 30 000 children. We aim to present the Bible story to 200 000 children in the coming years: pray that this vision will become reality. Pray, too, that we will be able to reach more young people through biblical social media on the Internet.
Norway
The most important event for us this year is the launch of the new Bible translation in our two main languages. Through this translation we hope to reach new groups of people and challenge them to read and listen to the Word of God. Pray that we will be able to collaborate closely with all churches in both promoting the new Bible and helping people to interact with it.
