Libia
Please pray for good relationships and co-operation between Christian expatriates here worshipping in churches of different confessions. Pray that there will be enough Bibles for them to grow in their discipleship and witness.
Egypt
Pray for the creativity and means to encourage Bible engagement via satellite and new media and technology. Our challenge is to provide an oral community with audio and dramatised Scriptures in new formats. People want the Bible: pray for many more opportunities to make God’s Word even more widely accessible, year-round, to thousands in the public sphere, to masses of people, in a welcoming atmosphere of open interaction.
Malta
Praise God for the completion of the audio New Testament in Maltese. Pray for our ongoing work to promote Bible reading, especially among children and young people. Ask for God’s guidance in overcoming our funding problems so that we may secure our future in translating, publishing and distributing the Bible.
European Migrant Ministry
Across the entire Europe Middle East Area, migrants number tens of thousands and in most countries they comprise some of the most marginalised people. Most find life very different from their expectations and regret leaving home. They may be fleeing famine, drought, war or persecution. Displaced Iraqis number three to four million. Pray for God to reveal himself to migrants wherever they are, giving them hope and peace in their hearts.
