Through our spokes, God speaks!
Several Cycle for Bibles projects are held every year along routes that stretch through various regions of our country.
Why?
- To help the Bible Society meet Bible needs.
- To serve everyone who needs a Bible in an accessible format, including the almost twenty million people in our country for whom the Bible is essentially a closed book. Some are blind or visually impaired, others have limited reading skills or never learned to read, and still others were born deaf and have specific language and reading needs.
- The task of the Bible Society is to make affordable Bibles available to all, and for this purpose funds are needed.
The funds raised enable the Bible Society to provide for Bible needs and so make the Bible accessible to more South Africans.
