Why drive when you can walk? And why just walk, when you can walk for Bibles?

Young and old throughout our country are taking to the streets to become actively involved in Bible Distribution. There is no event too small, no walk too short - any fun run can be walked in aid of distributing the Word of God.

Why?

• To help the Bible Society meet Bible needs.

• To serve everyone who needs a Bible in an accessible format, including the almost twenty million people in our country for whom the Bible is essentially a closed book. Some are blind or visually impaired, others have limited reading skills or never learned to read, and still others were born deaf and have specific language and reading needs.

• The task of the Bible Society is to make affordable Bibles available to all, and for this purpose funds are needed.

The funds raised enable the Bible Society to provide for Bible needs and so make the Bible accessible to more South Africans.
